MacBook Pro - Prepare For Re-Sale

A customer wanted our help with wiping their MacBook Pro to prepare it to be sold. We assisted them with ensuring all of their data was first properly backed up to their iCloud account, then guided them through the process of factory resetting the Mac which removes all data. At this point Macs need to connect to Apple's servers to re-activate, so we reconnected it to the WiFi and confirmed that it activated successfully. We were then able to reinstall MacOS 26 Tahoe and left it at the "Hello" setup screen for the next owner.
